Week in the Life: Coast Guard Station Rio Vista
An Auxiliarist answers vessel safety questions during the Safe Boating Day Open House at Coast Guard Station Gloucester, Massachusetts. The annual event draws hundreds of visitors interested in recreational boating safety. May 21 – 27 is National Safe Boating Week and the launch of the Annual North American Safe Boating Campaign, a yearlong effort focused on spreading the message of boating safety and the critical importance of always wearing a life jacket each and every time on the water.
